Follow these steps to change the default search engine in Opera GX:
Click the Opera GX logo on the top left
Then click on "Settings"
Scroll down untill you see a section called "Search enginge", it should be almost at the bottom (without clicking on "Advanced")
Where it says "Search engine used in the address bar", click on the drop down menu to the right
Select your desired search engine from the list
