1973 yılında Free grubundan ayrılan davulcu Simon Kirke ve vokal Paul Rodgers tarafından kurulan bir İngiliz rock süper grubuydu. Basisti Boz Burrell, gitaristi Mick Ralps'tir. Peter Grant menajerliğinde aynı isimli ilk albümlerini aynı zamanda Led Zeppelin'in plak şirketi olan Swan Song'tan çıkarmışlardır.
